Arrive at Kigali International Airport and enjoy our VIP Meet & Greet, including expedited immigration and access to the airport VIP lounge with drinks and snacks. Meet your private driver/guide and transfer to your hotel, followed by a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving and educational site honoring Rwanda’s history and reconciliation.

Travel through scenic villages to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s Big Five destination. Enjoy private game drives, boat safaris on Lake Ihema, night drives, birding, and guided walks. Experience abundant wildlife, from elephants and hippos to lions and rhinos, while staying in lakeside luxury at Magashi Tented Camp.

Transfer to Volcanoes National Park via scenic routes, stopping for lunch en route. Visit the Ellen DeGeneres Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Campus, then embark on a mountain gorilla trek, one of the most profound wildlife encounters in the world. Trek through lush forests with expert guides and spend an hour with these rare creatures. Day 6 includes the Golden Monkey Trek before transferring to Lake Kivu.

Journey to Nyungwe Forest National Park for a chimpanzee trek and an exhilarating Canopy Walkway above the ancient rainforest. Witness intelligent primates in their natural habitat and enjoy spectacular forest panoramas from the suspended bridge.
