Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide and transferred to your lodge. Surrounded by peaceful tropical gardens, the lodge provides the perfect setting to relax and recover from your journey.

Spend the remainder of the day at leisure before enjoying dinner and preparing for the exciting adventure ahead.

Day 2: Mount Kilimanjaro Day Hike

After an early breakfast, travel to the western slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and continue to the spectacular Shira Plateau, one of the mountain’s most scenic and less-visited areas. Surrounded by dramatic volcanic landscapes, enjoy a guided hike through this remarkable high-altitude environment while taking in breathtaking views of Africa’s highest peak and the surrounding wilderness.

Following a picnic lunch, descend and return to Arusha for a relaxing evening after an unforgettable introduction to Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and impressive elephant populations. Enjoy a game drive through diverse landscapes where elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and numerous bird species thrive. Lions and leopards are also frequently encountered within the park.

Following a picnic lunch, continue exploring the wilderness before heading to camp as the African sunset paints the savannah in golden hues.

Day 4: Maasai Village Visit, Mto wa Mbu Market Visit & Home-Hosted Lunch

Today offers an enriching cultural experience. Visit a traditional Maasai village and learn about the customs, traditions, and lifestyle of one of East Africa’s most iconic communities. Continue to the vibrant town of Mto wa Mbu, where a guided market visit provides insight into local crafts, agriculture, and everyday life.

Later, enjoy a traditional home-hosted lunch with a local family, experiencing genuine Tanzanian hospitality before returning to your lodge.

Day 5: Journey to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel through the spectacular Ngorongoro Highlands toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. As the vast plains unfold before you, enjoy your first game-viewing opportunities while travelling deeper into one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations.

After lunch and some relaxation at camp, head out for an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and countless other species that inhabit this extraordinary ecosystem.

Day 6: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Spend a full day exploring the remarkable landscapes and wildlife of Serengeti National Park. Early morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to observe predators, large herbivore herds, and fascinating wildlife behaviour across the endless plains.

Guests seeking an exceptional experience may also choose an optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari, offering spectacular aerial views of the Serengeti followed by a champagne bush breakfast.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, travel to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most celebrated natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater floor and enjoy a game drive through a unique ecosystem that supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife.

Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, vast grazing herds, and the rare black rhino while enjoying breathtaking scenery and a picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing to your lodge in Karatu.

Day 8: Lake Eyasi, Hadzabe and Datoga Experience

Day 9: School Visit, Arusha & Departure or Zanzibar Extension
